So CCM seem to be rolling out some bikes at long last most notably the new Flat Tracker which im on the list for.
The level of detail is quite something for those of you that hasn't seen any other their bikes yet.
Anyone on here one of the luck owners of anything in the Spitfire range ?

Looked at a few at the NEC bike show, you need to watch the ride height, some seemed to have a very high seat and also check the prices, it is easy for a £10k to be £20k once you add options.
Agreed. I've kept mine very sensible but as you say its easy to get carried away with things like Ohlins-5k.......I'll be all in for 11.5 idea

How stupid does one have to be ? Or how large a norwegian fishermans beard and lairy waistcoat must the buyer have for that to happen ??dibblecorse said:

It's subjective i know but they are pretty and adaptable bikes so there is a huge lots of options.I agree 20k is madness but it could be that someone ends up with a garage full of spares once they have added lots of interchangeable parts. I like the idea that if you get bored with the look you can change the bike around a bit

They looked great, just not sure I would want to spend that much.

What stood out to me was that in the brochure they are marketed as a £10k bike, but all the show bikes on the stand were dripping with options, ohlins is £4.5k from memory alone, let alone if you add the brembo's etc and the show bikes were all £20k bikes.
They looked great, just not sure I would want to spend that much.
My additional Spec is -Billet pack, Mirrors, sticker, Optimate charger and side mounted plate. They looked great, just not sure I would want to spend that much.
I may add the remap after service will see.
As you say Brake upgrade is £800 and ohlins is 5k..... I think i've got all i need and a good look for the bike

Someone bought me beard oil again for Christmas.
I've not wet shaved in 14 years but seriously considering it now.
And I've had to quit smoking the pipe.
Which artisan coffee is this weeks preferred blend and what does it have undertones of and what lingering taste does it leave in the mouth ???I've not wet shaved in 14 years but seriously considering it now.
And I've had to quit smoking the pipe.

Yes its a thread on CCM but a different subject to which others have answered and happily added to the thread. That's how forums work !Guess what , there are various threads on Honda, Yamaha and other brands shock horror.
If you don't like threads on CCM then DON'T BLOODY look at them it AIN'T difficult is it.

Exactly my point. Why not use the original thread? We don't need a new one for every minute thought on the 10 million different variations CCM will make.
Or alternatively when you see a thread titled 'CCM' dont read it!If the Mods elect to merge a thread they will do it. Unless of course you are a Mod in which case fill ya boots
