Hi, I've bought a Cardo Packtalk Bold and am looking to upgrade my helmet to a Schuberth. I would ideally like to get the C4 but I'm concerned that the Packtalk won't fit as the C4 comes with a very thick collar piece. Does anyone have any experience with the Schuberth helmets and the Packtalk fitment. I cant seem to find anything online.

Almost! I have a G9X fitted to my C3 Pro. I've used the stick on carrier to mount the main unit on the outside left of the helmet, just behind the slider for the sun visor and that's proved to be an ideal position. I have the larger speakers and use the boom mic (stuck to the inside of the main shell on the left side) and they all fit fine. I've then punched a small hole in the helmet skirt, close to the shell and near the main Scala unit through which I pass the cables. I've had no issues with this set up for over 3 years. thumbup

Got a Packtalk fitted to my C3 Pro, easy, no issues, except I have uprated speakers and as the shell is quite small I had to make the speaker pockets larger as the speakers were pushing against my ears.

I fitted the packtalk slim to C4 pro, had to cut into blank plates for schuberth comms. I also utilised the built in mic by cutting and joining wires

Need.to replace cardo so I'm going to get the packtalk edge and stick it on side

I've got a packtalk bold on my shoei GT air 2 and I love it to bits.

Ive also got a c4 and have the sc1 advanced comms unit which is a senna. It's decent but the lack of voice commands is annoying. I picked it up new for about 100 quid on ebay.

I don't know how you would fit the packtalk to the c4 without ripping the built in speakers and mic out which would be a shame.

It's not the easiest, but it is very possible. I fitted the Packtalk Edge to my C4 Pro, and most recently C5 Carbon. Given the quality and capabilities of the Cardo, it is worth the effort.
