Pillions & no licence
Discussion
Bummer - I'm glad I've not crashed with a pillion yet then. When I was getting my insurance they asked verbally if I would be taking a pillion and I said no, because I thought I probably wouldn't, but now that I've recieved the policy there's no mention of pillions at all - so I've had a few people on the back. Think I'll keep them off from now on until until I clarify the situation. I'll stick to my wheelie practice.

Yesterday I spoke to the ex-police advanced motorcycle instructor who got me through my DAS. He says he's not heard of that restriction, so thought there would be no problem.
After all, you can get rid of the radio gear, bib and L-plates as soon as you walk out of the test centre...
Just that if you are borrowing a bike, you might not be flavour of the month if you try and pull off the L Plates ! ( I did, and was charged for them )
