I am looking for some nice riding roads around the south east. I havn't yet ventured far from Brands Hatch, but i am willing to go that extra mile to find a nice stretch that isn't bombarded with moron drivers.
Just went out for a ride now (probably a bad time) to make the most of the dry weather, but i had a numpty infront on every other turning. so it wasn't really much fun at all.
Depending on the weather i would like to go out early tomorrow too and go for a bit of a blast.
Any good roads around then?

Cheers

We used to go from Salisbury through to Stockbridge and follow the 272 all the way through to Heathfield for a Sunday run.

You'd be coming the otherway and could start down the A26 and A267 to find the 272.

You could go as far as the Meon Hut and go either north or south on the A32. If you go south turn through the Meon Valley for a bimble and head down via Denmead and Havant towards A27 then back up from Chichester way, past Goodwood you can use the A286 or loop onto the smaller roads and/or take the 286 all the way back to Godalming / Guildford and A25 back.....

Sorry - getting a tad carried away there!

Find a Michelin map and look for all the roads with a green line by the side!

A507 to Letchworth from the A10

What a piece of road for riding OR driving. Tight and sweeping twisties, straights (almost) with plenty of view ahead, dips, humps, the lot.
