Has anyone got any history (was it crashed/any pictures of the bike in action) for my new purchase. Raced as bike number 17 in the Ducati Monster S4 challenge. Everything seems fairly straight and the bike is now running perfectly. All original parts still fitted, including the incredibly loud straight through Termis and the Ohlins kit.

Bike now located in Glasgow and will be making an appearance at Knockhill trackdays soon!

Cheers, Alan

You'll probably have better luck trying a Duc. forum.

Nice bike, looks like it'll be a lot of fun.

If I remember correctly the Monster Challenge was a support series for BSB a decade or so ago wasn't it?
I think the bikes were picked out of a hat before each race so riders didn't have one bike across the season. That'll make tracing its race history kind of difficult unless someone involved in the series has a full set of results or the like.

Good luck anyway.

That's what I've gathered so far, bikes were prepped by GSE racing and allocated on a random basis each race. The entry fee was in the region of £20k and for that you had a fully prepped race bike, tyres/fuel etc and you got to keep a bike at the end of the season.

I've found a coupe of pics online and some fairly brief articles - I guess the internet and digital photography was not as prevalent a decade ago as it is now!

That could be my old bike. Did you buy it from a fella in the Shetlands?
