Anyone ever done this - the top fairing I mean.
What is going on around the mirror mounts? Do I need to get to them from the inside or am I missing something from the outside?
Any pointers?

Sussed it - you need to take the screen off so that the plastic around the clocks comes away and then you can get to the nuts on the back of the mirrors, after that it all drops to bits...
and what joy to discover traces of coppaslip.
I do like my nuts copper slipped.
