Past bike test today,1st time!

thought I had failed as i went through an amber light ( was doing 40,to fast to stop.. ),then forgot a lifesaver when pulling over, then .. , heh , I was at a busy give way when I tried to pull away in neutral.. lol , nerves , but out of the 16 minors allowed,I didnt get 1 !! , he said after first 4 corners he knew by my speed etc I was confident and knew I was gonna pass ! , a god send of an examiner I think...

Left with the feeling that you really dont have much to do on your test, easy to fail, but easy to pass if you get my drift,I feel fairly good on a bike but dont think I should be allowed to go out and buy a zx10r or summit, 1 45 minute test, then 98mph in first gear..,EEK

I passed 4 weeks ago and got my first bike the same afternoon, I've since realised how much I've got to learn.....

excellent

Your turn for the posts on what bike to buy. I'm still waiting for Mister Taxman to pay for mine.

well done. still loads to learn.
Get your self on a bikesfae or ask your instructors for some more advanced training/ride outs.

probably they do one most sundays - a ride out with advice thrown in. worth the money.

Fantastic. Well done mate - now get a bike; you'll never look back! (well, apart from your lifesavers!)

[pinhead mode on] I have such sights to show you [pinhead mode off]

This is the start of a new life. Be careful not to end up in the next life..! winter is a good time to learn handling skills, I did my first winter right after passing. Did big favours, but on reflection - frosty mornings could have cut my biking career short.

Well done mate

You should go and have a day at Ron Haslems race school,Donnington, best £250 I spent learnt loads gives you confidence and teaches you how to go round corners.I passed my test 5 years ago on direct access and now have R6 and Harley Custom best of both worlds.

Good luck and safe riding
