I'm thinking of getting a power commander & aftermarket exhaust system - which is best? Considering Yoshi or Akra at the moment.

Or should I just get lightweight wheels instead?

Any experience gratefully received.

I've got an RRW Anniversary Blade which includes an Acropovic full system (road legal). It sounds good and at the top end has added about 10mph. I'd suggest steering damper and exhasust system and if you've any spare cash an advanced track day. The last one would probably have the biggest impact on me and my bike!

Best of luck.

Red Blade

P.S. Thinking of trading the Blade for a Busa!

If you're doing a lot af trackdays go for the Wheels. It changes the complete bike. The bike turns quicker and actually accelerates faster as the rotating mass is less.

Thanks for those - any more?

I was thinking about a 'busa or a ZX12 - I'll stick with the blade for now tho'.

gsxr - what was the 750 turbo on your profile like? I was also looking into holeshot turbo for blade.

The Turbo is a wierd bike...
I've got an old 97 GSXR 750 SRAD with www.mc-xpress.com/ old bolt on turbo kit that I bought used from a friend of mine.

The bike is far less hysteric as the normal old 750. It starts at 6000 instead of 10.000 rpms and it's got loads of tourque. Wheelies are no problems at all in almost any gear
My bike has a dodgy homemade water cooled intercooler that is bit too close to the wheel. So last year I grinded a hole in it at the Nürburgring... (I live quite close luckily). The bike worked enginewise very well at the NBR but you have to be carefull with the power going out of curves...
I will repair it and then sell it I think.

Mr RRW.....Don't go for all that flash stuff, keep it simple.
I have a carbon Oval exhaust for sale (Bolt on). Paid £150 for it and am looking to sell for £60.00 + £10 p&p With the power commander it cleaned the midrange up a treat. Have photo's if you are interested..

BTW selling because I now have a 02 and it's gathering dust in the box.
