Anyone ride anything old?
Discussion
It seems that everyone on the forum rides very new posing machines. There must be some peepz riding old stuff. Personally, I live in EC1 (Central London), so if I bought a new GSXR I reckon I would have it about a week, if that!!
So, I ride an old Kwaka GPX750R (red). It's slightly scuffy, but does the business treatfully and it's lovingly maintained by my good self.
So, what do you ride?

Nice one! ... That Vincent must be alot of fun. First 150mph production bike? and it's not going to depreciate! lol
Your FZR is nearly as old as my GPX (1989) !!
I am bikeless at the moment, and i'm missing it bad.
I thought about getting an old bike again to get my fix, either an Exup or...dare i say a KR1 or RGV!!!!
I know, i know, they've all gone bang, but i bought a KR1 in green white and blue new in 1989...best bloody bike i ever owned for pound for pound FUN.

Sounds like a load of fun to me. I used to have an original 1980 Yamaha RD350LC ... and that was fun fun fun!
The only reeally older bike that has ever appealed to me is the Sunbeam S7, dunno why really just always liked them, was very temped by one a couple of years back.
Of the relitivly more modern stuff, an original 1969 or 1970 CB750 appeals and and also an RC30 Ive always thought would be fun to own & maybe if I had taken my brave pills an NSR500 as a track bike

I've just bought a 1974 Honda XL250 Motorsport - she is a bit of an old lady now, but must have been quite advanced when new. It's really great to be back on a bike for the first time in over 20 years - wish I hadn't waited so long !
Just need to get a new helmet and some gear now - my old AGV seemed fine for the odd track day in the cars, but it suddenly feels very stupid to be using it on a bike.
I think I can feel a trip to Hein Gericke coming at the weekend !
Cheers
