Bank holiday monday coming up and the missus is working - so if the weathers nice i wanna go for a blast on the Bandit. Anyone on here from around the Salisbury/Bournemouth/Andover type area and fancy joining me?

You up for this Dennis and/or Jason?

I dont have anything in particular in mind - just that it could be a good day for a blast. I live between Warminster and Salisbury but don't mind travelling a bit to meet up with you guys.

If we get some names together we could try and arrange somewhere thats convenient for all?

Just to keep any other interested parties involved, its been confirmed for 9:30am at the Granada services, Warminster. Heres a summary of the route:

"Don't know if you've done a Lyme Regis run before - I know a brilliant
route (A361 to Shepton Mallet, through Evercreech to the A303, A356 to Crewkerne and B3165 to Lyme Regis (five star hoon road!). "

Sod going to Shepton , stright down the A359 through brutoin , fantastic road , just keep an eye out for farmer giles spreading shite on the bends .

I will try and make it ,
Im off to try and get some braided hoses to sharpen up the stoppers this weekend ,
also having a look at a thunderace that an aa chap might want to swap for the kwack as he is after a smaller bike .

If i do make it i will have me julie on the back which is a very good aftermarket speed limiter

Cool. Would be good to meet her at last mate.

Ill be going very steady - had a good look at my rear tyre today and its practically on the wear marker in the centre. I tried getting it replaced today but the only place that could fit one today wanted £170 fitted - two doors down they quoted £128 but ill have to wait a few days!

Anyway, see you monday mate hopefully.

Pleased you got back okay. One minute you were behind me, the next you were gone. Only occurred to me later that you may have spent the rest of Bank Holiday Monday by the side of the road with a deflated rear while I buggered merrily off into the wild blue yonder...

It's a much better ride when the roads are dry and the numpties are still in bed. There must be one day in the year when this happens...

Dry roads would have been nice - my rear hoop was spinning up everytime I accelerated across the white lines! Getting a new tyre fitted in the next few days though so not too bad!
