Hey!

Just wondering if anyone could help. I bought a Buell XB9R Firebolt from a Harley dealership back in March with a 1 year warranty however a couple of weeks ago my drive belt snapped without any warning!

The bike was an ex-demo 1½ years old and although I had the warranty, it didn't cover the belt so I was forced into buying a new one at a ridiculous price of £157!!!!

Is it right that the belt wasn't covered under my warranty???? The bike has only done 7000 miles and they are meant to last 20,000! Just seems crazy to me it didn't last as long as it should.

Any advice would be great!

Cheers!

Don't know about the warranty (maybe it's in the small print) but £157 for a belt!! that's more expensive than a chain - seems excessive to me.
