Yep, Dave and I do regular Euro Track days with Farside Sportsbiking www.farside-sportsbiking.co.uk/ they are really well organised and a great bunch of guys - the best bit is that they have very limited places and run an open track - next trip is 2 days at Nogaro on August bank hol weekend. See the pix of the last 3years on my website if you need more convincing!!

The other major name in this market is Byrne Up - they take greater numbers with them and run 3 sessions - similar set up.

Go for it!! It's brill!

The Keith Code Superbike School that Dave & I have just done operate some dates in Europe - have a look at their website for dates - also the Frankie Chilli School operate in Spain - there are quite a few - depends if you want a school or a track day!

So you can't be persuaded to do the Nogaro one??? Departs the Thursday night before the bank hol weekend - gwan gwan gwan gwan - - least you know you have a 110% recommendation on that one - that's a pretty safe bet isn't it?? you could spend the rest of Aug preping your bike and doing a couple of warm up trackdays

Edited to say that I think the Keith Code (California Superbike School) only operates the advanced levels of the course at some of the Euro tracks so you'd need to do 1 & 2 over here first.

The California Superbike School (Keith Code) and the Frankie Chilli European school are the most highly regarded that you'll find for track tuition both in this country and Europe....

<a href="http://www.superbikeschool.co.uk/uk/ssl/index.php">www.superbikeschool.co.uk/uk/ssl/index.php</a>

<a href="http://www.europeansuperbikeschool.com/homepage.html">www.europeansuperbikeschool.com/homepage.html</a>

The only other one is the Ron Haslam one @ Donington - not Europe obviously but you may have more luck getting a booking.

Think you'll have trouble getting a place on any of the Spain/France schools with short notice though.

The Ring!! you're mad!!

I will be goimng the ring but not in the next few days as planed forgot to order my new tyre so it will not be here till tuesday afternoon(actualy I ordered it saturday but didnt realise that he had to wait till Monday to phone his suppliers.
). and that wont leave us enough time.

so plan now is get new tyre tuesday go to scotland for a couple of days touring and just drop in a B+B. I really should think about these things a bit more
Did think about IOM but ferries seem to be extortionate.

Did Scotland on the way to the North West 200 earlier this year. Great fun. If you do come to the Ring let me know I only live an hour up the road. If you haven't done it before it's a bit odd! Not like doing a track day in England.
