Ok I know that many us us do not like Harleys, or the attitude of some of the riders who have them but has anyone ridden a V-rod at all?
I see that the Chester Dealer is closing his doors later this summer and I just wondered, if one might be for sale, whether it may be worth trying to do a deal.
What does one think?
Anyone???

I've only ever seen one once , when I was living in Toulouse a year or so ago, they look nice, sound nice, but (from what I've been told , so take with a pich of salt) the tank range is shite, the pegs ground out everywhere and it cooks your legs.....
Still, it does look nice

5 or 6 years ago, Harleys used to keep their value. I know, I sold my FXRT in '97, a 1989 with 50,000 miles on it for exactly what I paid for it (£7500). Ok it had £2000 worth of performance mods on it but hey, £2000 for 50,000 miles is cheap riding.
Nowadays, not so, they depreciate just like anything else, except that they do have a base level below which they don't go. Ever seen an £800 v-twin Harley? Thought not.
