Better there, than in the face... Looks like he might have been one of the bigger varieties, they hurt!

Having got my damaged bike back last weekend I had to re-organise my storage. Took the opportunity to get a pic of them together.

Wow, what a great collection!

Took the scenic route for a long ride home this morning. If you look REALLY hard you might see the sea smile

First ride out on my newly acquired 1991 VFR.. Compared to my ZXR or TLR, it’s so smooth and easy to ride. It deals with road bumps and ruts with ease..

Converted biggrin

You lost me with the blue seat cover biggrin
Not a fan of blue then laugh It’s different to the run of the mill, black.. The cowl cover bum pad is black, so I’m having that recovered in blue..more blue wink

I loved the riding position, no weight on my wrists, and soft suspension.. I am clearly getting old biggrin
I think the blue really suits it, very nice thing indeed.
Thanks you sir bowbiggrin
I'm another fan of the colours, even if they're Suzuki colours!! The more I see this the more I want another, mine was red with a red seat and white wheels....which would be my least favoured colour scheme now. The side stand fairing is pretty rare, not many you see for sale have those still. Maybe I need to find a black one....but the purple graphics on some years aren't nice.....
True..I have a couple of blue and white Suzukis too, so it’s all good smile

I don’t know why I never owned a VFR before now, it’s such a great bike to ride.. & white wheels are de-rigueur for a ‘90s bike! laugh

Yep, got the stand fairing, the seat cowl…& the original long rear mudguard (that I won’t be fitting wink )
Definitely find a nice black one smile

After 4 years not running, I finally got the Blade going! I had the carbs off this winter, the float bowls were green, the pilot jets were utterly blocked, and the float needles were jammed in place!

Anyway, got them back on today, fresh fuel, replaced the coolant and new NGK spark plugs.

It took a fair few attempts to get the fuel flowing and start, but eventually..success, woop!

It’s normally the red/white/purple 900RR paint scheme, but I fancied a different look, so bought the aftermarket Repsol fairing scheme..

That's one of the 50 Henry Cole and Guy Willison designed bikes, isn't it? Shame they cosied up to the disgusting fraudster Garner to get it made but interesting nonetheless.

Ticked Italy of the list of countries to ride to last week. (And Switzerland).

Then watched a German bloke ride straight into a stationary lorry how he didn't see him is beyond me.

I'll be at J&S this Saturday with the other half. Getting her the rest of her biking gear now that pillion has gone well. Loads of bikes always there unless it's raining. That cafe has got so much better since the aggressive old woman left. The loos not looking like a Russian gulag is nice, too.

I went to the lakes for couple of days. I timed it well with England playing which I decided to miss and had pretty much empty roads so did laps of Windermere and the other lakes; it was absolutely brilliant, one of the best ride I've ever had. Made the right choice bike wise, a sports bike would have been rubbish here but the svartpilen was great maybe only a supermoto would be better.

It was nice weather yesterday, ~22C all day so I went to the local bike meet in the evening. I really like the GSX-8R, it looks great, and is way more compact than pictures show.

Did morzine for the week on mountain bikes... Bit different but still 2 wheels. Never done it before and was a good bit of fitness. I'm on the very left wearing a bunch of old Moto x clothing

Not uploaded anything yet on YouTube so here's a video of a double amputee crashing in front of me while I was coming out with random words doing part of a circuit

https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8jWILXIT25/?igsh=a...

Then got back took my Tuono next day to my local dealer for warranty work. While there they noticed a small crack on the radiator and said it looked like warranty so left it with them to get everything in and fixed

In the afternoon got my little 250 MOT'd as I realised it ran out a few months earlier and then took it for another heat cycle and little ride to my town seafront

Went out for a spin Sunday and thought I'd try my new camera on a different angle (I'm not about selfie sticks or any of that influencer stuff) I just like the sound and smell of my bike

Bung a couple of shorts on YouTube

Then in the week went to a VERY busy biker pub and meet a big group I've not seen in a bit due to multiple tours recently

Was a really good night to be fair

I love blue, just not on a seat.

Nice well engineered bike though.

Thanks.
It is simply a limited production run by Ducati of a full set of replacement panels in Python Yellow. The bonus is you also get the donor bike white panels thrown in for “free”.
