You can wait ages to see one of these on the road. Then 2 come along at once....

Big money these days no doubt

First ride out on my newly acquired 1991 VFR.. Compared to my ZXR or TLR, it’s so smooth and easy to ride. It deals with road bumps and ruts with ease..

Converted biggrin

A local dealer had a BSA and AJS open day event so we went along. I took my BSA, my brother his AJS smile

Nearly snap, but I have an AJS and my brother a BSA smile

Photo from 2019 but not much has changed and that shot could have been taken today (or 50-odd years ago but the lighthouse would be about 100 yards further away then).
Haha yep! Nice to have similar speed bikes and a nice way to share a hobby with a sibling.

My brother bought a Norton Dominator since I got mine too, although his is quite standard where mine’s not hehe

Is that a Daytona 955 with 1050 wheels or a 1050 wearing Daytona 955 clothes?

Had an amazing weekend of riding, green laning round Wales with a bunch of mates all on 125cc road bikes costing less than £700! Had to carry everything we need and camp over night.
Awesome! Would definitely recommend

We didn’t get stuck much (they were just the most often times we took pictures) and made it up some incredible terrain. Honestly these bikes are beyond belief!!!

My bike was a 32,000 mile 12 plate YBR125 that was rough rough then had been crashed and written off. I bought off a company that sells write offs for £450, and got it road worthy with the only upgrade, some knobbly tyres (could do with gearing down mind for the MASSIVE climbs)

170 mile round trip to Old Warden Aerodrome for a Gathering of Guzzis, mostly V7s in all their different forms. About 30 turned up and maybe 3 were still in stock form. Beautiful day for it, too.

New to me Ducati 749, had a first proper run out at the weekend. What a bike! Aged very well for a 20 year old bike, probably why it wasn't well received when first released!

It has a Leo Vince race exhaust and sounds sublime!

I was at high school when they first came out, I really wanted a 749 Dark.

Excellent. Looks like a lot of fun... it's the sort of thing that me and my mates were doing back in the 1980s. My first "off roading" was on a CD175, folllowed by many a trip along the ridgeway on a BSA Starfire. Nice to see folk still enjoying cheap, simple fun.

I have always liked the look of them, did the 749 come with the Ohlin's rear or is that off an R?

Not a fan of blue then laugh It’s different to the run of the mill, black.. The cowl cover bum pad is black, so I’m having that recovered in blue..more blue wink

I loved the riding position, no weight on my wrists, and soft suspension.. I am clearly getting old biggrin
