Agree, Yammienoob is a complete knob. Saw a video where he was condeming the Harley Sportster as the least reliable bike on the road. Said something about them breaking cam chains all the time !!! Sportsters are gear driven as I believe all Harleys are.
As for Sportsters breaking down, rubbish. Parts might vibrate lose, but they are in general a very reliable bike.
Sportsters have always had 4 gear-driven cams.As for Sportsters breaking down, rubbish. Parts might vibrate lose, but they are in general a very reliable bike.
The big twins - Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evo - had, basically, the same engine design, with a gear-drive single cam, for anout 60 years, until the Twin Cam was introduced 20 years ago. I guess the change was made for noise and cost reasons. You don't have to selectively assemble a chain drive. The early TCs had problems with camchain tensioner wear, not with the chains per se.

Just on the offchance that anyone doesn't watch Fortnine, he really ought to be on BBC4.
I'm not sure if that is a compliment or not.His last video on e-bikes is not really relevant to the UK with his ''elderly and pre-pubescent kids immediately hitting 30mph'' on their e-bikes, using year 2013 UK casualty figures to make his point about the dangers of e-bikes, and then seeking to discount injuries caused during recreation, although they are included in his quoted figures, and then all the quotes from Israel?
Have his other vids been better?
44T are my favourites for sure, followed by Fortnine.
It's amazing the quality of the product and how entertaining it is given they're just blokes with a mate on the camera and some go-pros. There have certainly never been (in my opinion at least) any professionally made bike programmes on TV that are anything like as good.

Fortnine 'Anecdotal evidence is only evidence of an anecdote':

It may not be his saying, but it's new to me.

There was a 44teeth video where they did talk about going mainstream or getting consdierable investment, however there was issues with intellectual property and the production companies wanting to take their IP in full. Have you got a link for that particular video? I'm a big 44T fan but can't recall watching that one. They did make a tongue in cheek reference to BMW throwing cash at them in their new Monday News video this week.

That tends to be a circular reference - every time they like a BMW the viewers accuse them of being in BMW's pocket.I suspect 44T isn't more popular for two reasons - one being that motorcycles aren't that big a niche these days, second that they don't do regular enough content to get the algorithm to push them up into the limelight. Hence why they've started revamping their website and pushing content through social media a bit more instead.
