. Not raining though ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
An old tip from my dirt biking days is to get some old 35mm camera film (that'll be the challenge) and run it round under the seal. A feeler gauge can also be used. ![frown](/inc/images/frown.gif)

Nine times out of ten it'll clear the grit/dirt and resolve the problem.

Memory suggests it was seal buddy and the first ebay hit being this (there are plenty more, just an example)

Also maybe seal mate for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wlzfoVroSY
a day punctuated by heavy showers, transit van t
ts -why overtake when there is 0.01mph speed difference and the normal crap lane discipline
and a mirror - not had one for a fair few years turns out it wasn't broken despite the rantings of the car driver - made a loud bang though - apologised and went on my way

I think I will always be amazed at what you pull out of tyres!
On the way home this afternoon the rear felt 'off' and sure enough when I pulled into a garage the tyre was looking flattish, quickly found the culprit - a f
king razor blade! Managed to patch it and its seems to be holding fine (at least it managed the 60 miles home of motorway riding!), just bloody annoying as this tyre is pretty new with less than 1K miles on it after the last one was killed early by a massive screw that damaged the sidewall.
I don't think I've ever had a period of riding like the last 6 months for the amount of crap in the road causing punctures; had 4 or 5 since Christmas and have stopped to help at least 3 other bikers who have had punctures at the roadside.

Had a bit of luck on M25 this morning - which has 6 odd miles of pointless roadworks and is consequently filtering nirvana until the tunnel vision kicks in.
Police biker 'making progress' appeared to part the traffic like the red sea and me and a couple of other bikes slotted in behind him.

I left between 5-10 mins late yesterday morning going into London. I can't believe the difference in the traffic, it was so much heavier. That's leaving at 06:05-10 instead of 06:00. Unreal.
I find that if I'm not on the M6 just before 0600 I'll be filtering though slow traffic for most of my journey. Just before 6 and it's plain sailing most mornings.Highlight for me today was driving to Wimbledon, parking the car and getting a hire bicycle. Getting quite fed up with commuting on the Tiger 1200. It's just too hefty through Fulham and Putney, which are nightmares at rush hour. I'm frequently struggling to find neutral which is up 10 times in about three miles at traffic lights.

I just leave mine in gear and wait with the clutch lever pulled. Very warm commute yesterday, made worse by the heat coming from my 1290 Superduke GT.
The seat might as well be heated, constantly, and my right leg is cooked after 15 mins.
I've heard the Rotweiler dongles can help with this as well as smoothing out the chugging in higher gears so that's a potential purchase.
Also, the screen is coming off next summer - the lack of breeze was quite uncomfortable.
