Dale Lomas runs the Bridge to Gantry website, hence BTG.

That makes sense. I remember the BTG website.

That's why I find TMF hilarious. Every time he reviews a biggish bike, he says, "It's not for girls this!" And then demonstrates his amazing off-road skills on the Salisbury Plain, which has to be one of the most boring motorcycle videos on the internet.

hehe
Getting a bit gnarly, really?

I think maybe he has not ever actually be on any off road trials, not even in his Rangey!
This gets pretty gnarly from 27:00 onwards, still nowhere not a patch on TMF though!

I haven't seen or heard anything from Matt Durrans, of The Bike Show, for a while now.
One of my favourite presenters; I can only hope he's on the mend.
Sadly he succumbed to his short illness earlier this month. I'm quite gutted at this as he was one of my favourite presenters too. Just watched him riding some roads in Spain on his MT09 that I did a few months ago which was poignant.

RIP Mat

That's a real shame, He was a good presenter & a pretty handy rider too. Think I know which vid you mean, I rode that back in 2022 (CV700?) brilliant bit of road.
RIP Matt...

Yes, indeed it was that road and the ones around it! Fabulous roads.

For anyone interested, this is a rather fitting tribute to Mat, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CASZX_bQZ68&t=...

A real loss.

I was lucky to spend a fair bit of time riding with him on track in South Africa and he was always a lovely guy and a pretty handy rider.
