No vids on here for a few months so thought I'd put this up.

US bike race in Alabama a couple of weeks ago. Unbelievable that they raced in these conditions. Makes the BSB boys complaining about Donnington on Saturday look like a right bunch of pansies!

Worked for me - and I spotted 3 of the bikes I owned in there, a Z900 (OK, a KZ900 for the yanks), Z1R and a GPz1100. Catchy tune too wink with 80s pow pow pow electronic drums. Kawahsakeh...I'm still singing the tune smile

It might have been linked before and I know most will know it but I recently watched the 70's film On Any Sunday - it starts a bit slow but the second half is better.

I remember the impression flat track made when I first saw On Any Sunday almost 50 years ago. 120 mph on dirt with no brakes. eek but so cool

And the on-board of the desert racer, going for it on a Husky and casually picking a line through the bushes and rocks.

It was the total lack of protection that struck me - most off roading was done in jeans, trainers and occasionally a helmet - then again that's how I rode my field bike when I was 13 in the early 80's

Maybe all the gear came about because of all the injuries laugh
