A week on from this and despite earlier indications midweek("we're unpicking the deal" now) etc etc...Triumph are now for a reason i cant fathom, arguing the toss about my rejection of the bike.

Apparently, even thou when they collected it, it had the engine management light on, this COULD be down to excess fuel pressure in the system from my multiple attempts to start it...the bike is THAT delicate...
Utter cobblers...
Ask them why their state-of-the-art motorcycle doesn't have a fuel pressure regulator. smile

Pitbike racing sounds fun.
It really is, most laughs I've had on a bike, cheap as chips compared to going racing on big bikes too.

This has been in the planning for a couple of years, but what with several things like health and covid it’s only happening now.

And it’s a pain in the arse. The kit is pretty poor in terms of fittings etc so a day or two’s fitting is now 10 days of fabrication. I’m still happy it’s going to end up something great.

I Will look forward to the final result, I thought that kit looked great when it came out. I love the retro ZXR look (former h1 owner)

when theyve sold a few no doubt they should be able to iron out all the issues.....

Cheers, you’re not the only one! Pretty sure they didn’t sell many, and they’re no longer in business, so there’s no ironing out happening except in my mechanic’s workshop.

Nice! What's with the 'engine shed' type window design?

Few pics from our second trip to Snetterton and our first time racing in the BMB on the pitbikes at Pembrey, just epic fun in very different ways.

Snetterton was a fantastic day, minus my oil filter coming off at 165mph on Bentley Straight, bike and myself were covered from head to toe in delicious Silkolene, at first i thought the engine had let go, then on closer inspection we discovered the oil filter had undone due we think to vibrations being such a fast track, fresh oil, filter and some lock wire later we were back out, fastest lap was a 2:04.

Then our race weekend on the pitbikes, just non stop action and fun, we weren't competitive with the top 15, but we didn't expect to be, but managed a best result of 15th, defintely something we'll be doing again and i'd recommend to anyone looking to get into some cheap racing.

Fantastic mate, done a bit of an edit on one of the pics...

That looks over sharpened to me, would be better with a blurring of the background, or even just scrubbing out the Snett sign.

Interested in some more details of what you have there.

A couple of years back a mob in Spain called Japan Legends came up with a kit called the ZXR900 kit that modifies the current Z900 to be a sort of 30 year homage to the ZXR750. If you Google zxr900 you’ll find plenty of info on it.

This is that kit, being affixed to my 2021 Z900, and hopefully will be hitting the street this week 😎

Make sure none of your bikes are left in a cold garage with water as coolant. And keep batteries in the house.
