Downside - I don’t think you can download maps to use offline, so no mobile signal means no map.
As said above, it's possible: https://support.google.com/maps/answer/6291838?hl=...TomTom Ride app is pretty good. Whereas the regular TomTom offers routes based on economy etc the ride apps offers 3 levels of twisty fun routes. Standard is the quickest route you would get from the regular app then more exciting includes some more minor roads like getting off A roads and the most exciting routing is the most twisty route it can plot down B roads or minor.
It is pretty accurate based on my testing of a few 50-150 mile round trip routes I know well. The twisty route chosen is the route I would ride, I Will try it out when I visit new areas I'm not familiar with.
Its quite a simple update to the regular TomTom, I dont know why it warrants its own app when it could just be a couple of options in the regular TomTom app. Perhaps with the focus on motorcyclists they will be able to add more bike specific features later.

I went for the new Beeline Moto 2 after reading a few reviews

Received it a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately mine has a battery fault. It Won’t hold a charge at all, as a result I’ve only used it for about 10miles.
I’m returning it to the store I bought it from for a replacement unit on Saturday.
Looks a good little unit, so hopefully my replacement will be the ideal low profile solution for on my Harley and Monkey. I have a proper Garmin on the 500X.

Can't say I'm surprised. Be glad you bought it from a store, beeline themselves only offer a 50% refund for faulty goods.I’m returning it to the store I bought it from for a replacement unit on Saturday.
Won't go near their products until their quality control is sorted.

As said, I’m exchanging my faulty unit at Sportsbikeshop.com from their store on Saturday.
If that one isn’t any good I’ll get a full refund without issue.
I’ll keep people updated.
Been using a Garmin Drive 52 in a handlebar bag with a plastic window. Meant for cars but can still press the screen with gloves on, no interruptions with notifications like the phone, and although the basecamp software could be better it's better for planning routes exactly the way you want to ride them. Personally don't fancy having an expensive gadget hanging from a plastic mount in all weather.
