Did anyone manage to get to the end of his video or did they fall asleep in the process?
I paused about 30% way through. Since then I've rebooted. He said three things that irked me in that 30% and one thing I liked.I am not sure what he was going about regarding the tubular frame and then having that pressed part around the footrest, swing arm pivot area. Many bikes are like that. I think he may've meant range when he patted the 15L fuel tank.
I liked his blue jacket.
Matte finishes are too high maintenance for me. I'd be a lot keener if the Goldfinch yellow was gloss.
I'd like a gloss metallic orange shade called Chiltern Kite Umbre.

I though here we go today, when a new video appeared . Just a TMF ride around the usual roads telling you the bike is good at filtering, touring etc without actually doing any of that. But he sort of redeemed himself showing the amount of spray you get after a wet ride. Would certainly make me think again if in the market for this type of bike.
The pretence to not know much more than newbie level about bikes is wearing thin as he is a very experienced biker with 10s of thousands of miles under his belt.
Obviously he knows simplistic videos for the gormless (like me lol) get the most views and know it alls are hated lol.
I struggle to watch that fat headed scot myself lol.

LOL, I had to turn it off. Hadn't watched him in a while, couldn't find anything else, my god he's tedious, I wish I hadn't.And that disclaimer he flashes up at the beginning about 'blokey' humour ha ha, what a muppet. He only put that up because of the abuse he got saying some bikes aren't for girls. Now he just deletes any negative comments, how embarrassing.
I've now seen two Hornets. Both were on Michelins and both had hexagonal pattern radiator guards that I am not sure would be effective against some of the bean sized gravel on my local pothole strewn roads.
It's unfortunate the Matt yellow on the Hornet isn't the gloss yellow as on the CB500F. The Hornet didn't grab me anymore than the CB500F, CB500X or NC750X nearby in the showroom.
TMF mentioning that the bike gets itself and the back of the rider covered in dirt was useful information for me.
Someone asked TMF how the Hornet compared to two other bikes, one being the Duke 790 and in his response he didn't mention the Duke 790 just the other bike asked about.
Lamb Chops is going to put a Hornet up against the Suzuki and whichever wins will be tested against an MT-07 and Duke 790? That may be useful.
I like riding the Duke 790 and the I like the looks of them, but not the current 890 colour ways, but I am not sure I can cope with the ownership experience. The new almost white, light grey 790 colour way looks great to me but I am an orange wheel fan boy.
I like the pillion grab rail on the Duke 790/890 for wheeling it in and out of the garage which is something the Hornet doesn't have. The matt black finishes on the Duke 890 and the matt orange scheme do not appeal to me.

I've just had a calendar reminder pop up that I've got one of these coming for a few weeks tomorrow for a video review - will try to not be boring with it. ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
What's the throttle and fueling like?![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
I am not a riding god so sometimes leave my indicators on. A comment on how well the self cancelling indicators work may be useful.

Parallel twin. No thanks.
I'm old school too, but a lot of sporty bikes seem to have only 2 cylinders these days.I was surprised to realise that the Yamaha 700 range are only twins.
