Personally, I don't think I could adapt to not having a fresh pair every morning. However, depending where your trip is, you can easily find a launderette en route...

Merino wool pants, happily do a few days.
Save a spare pair for evenings post shower.
Same for tops, merino baselayer will do ages under leathers before it smells.

Previous day's pants and t-shirts used for general visor / screen cleaning and chain maintenance etc the following morning before being binned.

Don't think I would want to use my used undies to clean my visor with !

I just take my oldest undies and socks with me and dump them in the bin the next morning, never thought to use them for chain maintenance, you learn something new every day.

3 is fine as it allows for one day of not washing if you really can't face it.

Use some of those laundry detergent sheets (take up no space and weigh nothing) do a wash each night before having a shower and use your towel to dry the clothes using the roll method and hang them up in the room over a chair or something, then have a shower and use the same towel to dry yourself, yes you will be using a damp towel but it works just fine. You can then put on evening clothes and next days underwear.

If you are camping then take a waterproof stuff sack and use that as your washing machine if there is no sink available (also take a travel plug).
Take some of those adventure/travel type trousers that zip off to make shorts, they also pack down well and weigh v little.
Use quick drying underwear and quick drying base layer and they normally dry out by dawn. If you HAVE to have them bone dry in the morning then wear them to bed and they will dry out overnight from your body heat.

Using the above I find that including my base layer clothing fits easily into a 1.5l stuff sack.

Done this for years as use & discard method liberates space for souvenirs & other purchases to bring home at end of trip

If you ditch the hoodie you’ll have enough room for pants!

As others have said I just pack the oldest pants/socks and ditch them each day. Couldn’t be arsed washing stuff or being smelly.

I also pack my clothes into compression sacks so they take up as little room as possible. Makes a huge difference on something like a fleece. Less so with jeans.
