Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help/shed light on the potential cause of fuse 195 (30amp) blowing when replaced (within 60 seconds without starting engine) on my 2013 F01 740i.

If I’m interpreting the diagram correctly (three squiggly lines with arrow heads point vertically and a horizontal line beneath them) I believe this fuse is something to do with heating - but I appreciate that I may be totally wrong.

When replaced, the fuse blows after 30-60 seconds without the car being turned on.

Any help most appreciated - if the answer is to plug it into some sort of code reader, it would be good to know what I should be looking for.

Huge thanks in advance

Chris

I came across that too - it looks like the fusebox layout is different for each of the F01 seven series based on engine and spec - or at least different between petrol and diesel engines.

The lack of info in the owners manual isn't hugely helpful... I guess they just expected 7 series owners to go directly to BMW whenever something went boink?
