I know it’s a worn out topic.
My insurance is pretty cheap across the board. Various vehicles all good value. My just sold Aston was £150!
However I’m really struggling to get a good quote on 640d GC. Between 800-2000!!
In fact I got a better quote on a M6??
Off to look at one in a bit. It won’t stop me buying but a bit miffed that I’ll save on Road tax only to lose on insurance

Right about variables.
But I can’t see why a 640d I’d at least 5x price of my Vantage. Seems 640i is cheaper too

Just got back. 47 mpg!
Glad it has VDC as the ride over poor surfaces can be challenging as many before me have said.
It is on 20” Dunlop RF though.

Head up display with nav very good.

Good point about the headlights though. This one has the full ready to go wrong at any moment versions lol

It was Saga that I had my Aston insurance with. They wanted £950 to change to 640. For 9 months remaining

Unbelievable. I was in a low risk area for the last 5 years. Cheap insurance generally.
However I have had money back on all policies since moving presumably because it’s even lower.
But no dice with this car. Oh well, I’ve got it now so best stop moaning lol
