Insurance recommendations please

My current insurer will not insure m3's due to prior losses 'virtually ever one we insured was stolen, regardless of cat 1 and tracker'

Direct Line were the best when I had mine ... always get a quote online as it will be cheaper.

Also worth trying Tescos.

Direct line quoted me £2400 on an E46 M3
Tesco quoted me £1200 ......

I am with Elephant as they were cheapest for my by a long way, but when I mentioned I wanted to make some mods the premium rocketed.
Adrian Flux are very cheap but I have heard mixed things about their service.
Liverpool Victoria are also meant to be good, but won't cover an m3 if you are under 30.

Adrian Flux was providing mine on limited mileage of 3k a year, garaged, in Surrey, me (26 at the time) and the Missus (26 still ), fully comp - £640 with a £350 excess.

Great service as well.
