Just having a look through the classifieds and spotted a rather nice '89 highline. If any one is after one i would say this is a very clean, reliable example (but then i would say that!).

Does look nice, but without looking at them in details it's difficult to tell what lies beneath.
On another point I am trying to organise some six series get togethers. Where are you based as i can keep you posted, that is only if your interested. Last year in a joint effort get together we had 26 sixes turn up to a meet in a pub carpark in Hampshire.

Yes it is as nice as it looks. Only thing that people say is wrong are the wheels which obviously are not original due to the cost of the metric tyres that they seem to fit to some cars. The previous owner chaged them but did not keep the original wheels except the spare in the boot.
I've done loads of work on it and it would not take a lot to make it imaculate !
All the leather inside is near purfect and with all new suspension it drives like new.
Only problem with it at the moment is the air con. The gas has run out and it appears difficult to get the gas for it so I can't gurantee that it works now, I would except any reasonable offer for the car in truth, but if I don't get an offer, I'm going to keep it and change the wheels for a set of Alpina's....then it will really look smart !!!!

You try finding a set of Alpina's. To get the correct wheels with the black centre's it has taken me 5 years of searching. The e34 ones fit, but the rear's at 10" are to wide.

On the car front is sounds very nice. If you want to sell it i would suggest you put an advert up on the BMW Car Club web site at www.bmwccgb.co.uk. I will also post the details to a friend who i know is looking for one.
