Not so long ago I'm sure I saw a set of Angel Eye headlights in the classifieds. Does anyone know whether these were sold or, where/how much it would cost to get the upgrade done?

I know the main dealers quote £350 just for the parts.

those on e-bay look well dodgy

I may see what some of the BMW independents around Manchester quote.

Talking of which - does anyone know of a very good independent to use for servicing around Manchester or Goole/Selby in East Yorks.

a '98 525 TDS Touring - I think the E number is 39?

And whilst I know that, in the immortal words of our main man MrC, that Es are in fact, good... what the hell is it all about with BMWs

E39s is the correct model number! I think you have to replace the complete units - think BMW make them and Hella.
