Just bought an MRoadster - and love it to pieces!!!

I have to insure the wee beastie now, lowest so far is with EGG at £549 (but extra £95ish for NCB protected). 'He who must be obeyed' only pays £580 all in for his Tuscan S.

Is this a good deal or should I carry on looking?

Sounds good to me. I did mine a few weeks ago and did the usual shopping around bit --BMW came up best for me and it was more than your quote.

My coupe was good the first year with tesco (£1100 22yrs protected NC).
Then renewal came 12months later & it was £1600 for the same.

Tesco's seem to add around 20-30% to protect a NCB

Sounds really good - and also the Tuscan insurance...

I save £400 by using A.O.N. 01384 552 700 with £250 excess etc. Still cost £750, however...

Enjoy your new toy

Thanx for the advice. Looks like the deal is pretty good.

Doesn't work get in the way of playing though?

I have found myself a job that involves driving around on sunny days visiting people - this pays for the petrol and allows me to enjoy my driving too
