Got the B3 in the bodyshop currently having a new bonnet put on.

The bodyshop have had trouble identifying the colour though. They've been on to Sytner who have been on to Alpina who have given them a paint code which means nothing to Glasurit.

Any ideas?

Will totally bugger my plans if I can't get it identified today.

Try Morelli's in Wycombe (off desborough road). They stock codes of most automotive paints

It's identifying the colour that's the problem. The Sytner bodyshop are having trouble helping us to identify what Glasurit colour the Alpina blue is.

I dont get it. Sytner should have the paintcode there.

They do have strange moments when you contact them for info. I had a bit of grief getting info on my B10.

I suspect it's some problem of translating one paint code into another. i.e. Alpina/Sytner -> Glasurit.

I'm going to leave them to sort it out. They can put the old bonnet back on my car for the weekend apparently so that takes the panic out of things.
