Hi there

Im looking at buying a Z3, probably a 1.8 or 1.6 if they do them - looking around i think i can aford a 98 R, i just wanted to get some ideas on what to look out for as i will be buying private. It will also be an everyday car so how much does millage affect it.

Thanks for your help.

Get a 6 pot.

DO NOT bother with anything less. You will be totally disheartened.

It doesn't drive like a "normal" BMW. So help yourself along with a bigger lump.

Possibly the biggest white elephant of any large manufacturer in the last 10 years. Terrible car with a joke of an engine besides the 2.8.

Steer WELL clear and buy a decent car.

Go to www.zroadster.net
You can ask the question and get some sensible answers from those who drive and own the cars
