Hi all,

Been carelessly browsing ebay and fancy swapping my current alloys which are a bit dinged for some undinged versions. I've got the 16"x7j 5 double spoke alloys on my 96 325 TDS Touring. I quite like the look of the 7 spoke alloys from the E46 but was also wondering if I could fit 5 series wheels? The offset of my current wheel is 46mm I believe, are the 5 series wheels different?

Also just to set my mind at rest will E46 wheels fit an E36?

Cheers,
Rob

AFAIK e46 wheels fit no probs, but e39s wont come near, which is a bummer because I really like the 17" M paralels you can gey for it.

This is only what I have read elsewhere so dont take it as gospel.

Sorry, but they're completely different offsets.

The 5-series are around ET20 while the 3-series is ET40 (give or take a few mm each way).

Thanks Gents,

Kinda had the feeling that it wouldn't be that simple!
