Took the Alpina up there yesterday for them to check out the ABS/T/C warning lights that were coming on intermittently.
They couldn't find a concrete cause for the problem but cleaned up all the sensors etc, and stopped any more errors being reported to the ECU.
And the best bit? I guess cos I'm a new customer to them, they didn't charge me as they couldn't find anything definitely wront. 1.5 hours of labour gratis.
To say I was surprised was an understatement. Thank you!

I was a new customer with the same problem to a certain BMW garage, and they charged me for nearly an hour's work !
You have been lucky. I'll be taking my wagon elsewhere in future.

If they'd have known who you were then coffee and muffins all round I guess.
