Managed to rip off the front valence of the Alpina this evening. Teach me to stop for a pie in McDonalds...

Bugger, I trust McD's are paying for the damage caused by their deliberately placed obstacle?

bloody annoying.... grounded the rubber spoiler on bottom of the Elans front bumper coming of the drive a bit sharpish damaging it last Saturday

The front spoiler is exactly kerb height. Just high enough to place it over if driving too far forward. Then reverse back and rip it off

Don't think any major damage was done and it's all plastic so I hope a bodyshop can make it good fairly easily.

Petrolted Its funny you should say that because i have a e39 540 beemer with a alpina front spoiler.
Last weekend pulled up outside toys r us in bristol , heard a slight scrape from the spoiler over the kurb.
Went back to the car , forgot about it reversed and pulled bugger off.
