....I've just swapped my 1996 M3 Evo convertible for a 2001 convertible. Carbon black, black leather, 19's, Sat Nav, TV, folding mirrors, heated seats, Harmon Kardon, CD Changer etc...it has a lot of toys and I love it. I bottled out of getting a TVR Cerbera....not really comparable cars I know, but I decided on a car I can drive daily rather than a car I can pay to repair monthly!

Anyway, I've heard conflicting stories about whether it's possible to 'fool' the TV function on the car so that you can drive it whilst on the move. I only ask as I often have passengers, and whilst the picture quality may fade in and out, it would be a nice to have.

Anyone know anyone who's done it?

Thanks AC79xxx - I'll give them a call.
And thanks to the rest of you for the flattery. I have to say I'm chuffed, chuffed, chuffed. I can't believe the difference in performance between my old E36 Evo convertible and the new one....different class. So similar on paper, but not in reality. I'm a happy bunny!

And Mr Flibbles....you can't fool it that way either...it still cuts out at 5mph! That was one of the things I was told you could do, just earth the handbrake indicator light, but alas not true.
