Parked the 530 up in the garage last nite all windows shut.

Got to it this morning, and all four windows down by about 2 inches.

Any one seen anything like this before ?

I'm not aware of the zapper having a window opening function. Thieves don't normally bring cars back. I am the only driver. EMP ?

E39 and E60 will open all the windows if you hold the open button down on the remote. You can catch it in your pocket. If you hold the lock button down they will close...

However, some E39's had a body module problem which would open all 4 windows but usually all the way down.

Hope this helps

Bad form to quote oneself, but the zapper does have this function.

Local BMW dealer have quoted 30 quid to switch it off.

They also tell me the pesky function of the zapper to open doors CAN'T be switched off.

That's crap - I've often got my tight disco strides on (oh err missus) and the BMW is unlocked before I have reached the door.

Our X5 did this the other day, came down in the morning and all four windows were all the way down, alarm had not gone off though. Must of been the same thing...i hope!
