How much for tyres???
Discussion
My 330 coupe went in for an oil service at the local dealership and was told that I had a nail in the offside rear causing a slow puncture. I was amazed they spotted a "slow puncture" as the car had only been with them a couple of hours. Anyway, They quoted me £240 for the Dunlop SP9000 255/35/18 (I think that was without fitting!).
Cut a long story short they totally lied about the nail (angry letters from me and only a small apology from them!) but I did notice the tread was getting low so I decided to buy a new tyre. Found a guy on the net and purchased it for £147.96 inc. vat and delivery!!
He has lots of other brands and sizes so let me know if anyone wants his number.

Could you expand on "...lied about the nail..."?
I hate it when any repair place blatantly lies! Perhaps naively I'd like to think maindealers should be above that...but I know they're not. It's just disgraceful!
I'd just like to hear the full 'nail story'...
Just to see if it actually beats the most disgraceful story I ever heard about my favourite 'Specialist Motorsport Legend dealer down south'....:0
