Hi guys little help needed i got a 325i e36 which have aftermarket alloys on it. they where on when i bought the car now i need to get the wheels off but i cannot find the tool anywhere! if i get a puncture im screwed basically. the part i need is a 12mm allen key for a wrench i have been to so many places e.g b&q, halfords and some small car shops but so far NO good nobody has them....

any ideas in london??

I had the same issue with a customers car at work, in the end i found an old torx bit i had at the bottom of my box, was a T55 bit on a half inch drive, cut the torx end off and the main shaft bit is a 12mm allen key.

If your sure it's a 12mm allen key required, you could just cut the straight part off an allen key and use that in a 12mm socket.

However, it is much better to have the correct tool, try here: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/categories/searc... , 1st and 3rd items depending on drive size.
