THE 21ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF THE CLASSIC E30 AT ROCKINGHAM RACEWAY CORBY

On 6th March 2004 the E30 Register will be celebrating 21 years of the classic E30, at the Rockingham Raceway www.rockingham.co.uk

There will be a Show & Shine for E30s with trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. We will have static display of M3 race cars including a replica of Frank Sytners M3. We hope to have a display of 80s fashion and music. It would be great if we all turned up dressed in 80s clothes?

The M Power Club will be running the track for the day. The cost will be as follows- Full day £130, half day £70, sessions £25. The sessions will be for those of you who would like to try a few fast laps without losing to much rubber. You must book in advance for the track so book now as places are limited. Contact the office on 01225 709009 or www.bmwcarclubgb.co.uk

For those of you not using the track there will be a small entrance fee of £5 per adult and £2.50 for children up to the age of 15.
We look forward to seeing you all, and as with all car club events, all are welcome.

The BMW Car club M power section is also running a track day there at the same time. You can book in for the day, half day or just one session. There is also some defensive driving courses being done for members that want it. Have a look at www.bmwccgb.co.uk

Im from Amersham, Herts.

Don't suppose anyone knows how standard E30 325i brakes hold up on the track, or is it worth upgrading them before hand? Don't really want to have to find brake fade all day.

Remember Rockingham is an Oval track so it's not going to be as heavy on brakes as some of the others

I am also aware of a convoy being arranged from the south east. I think they are trying to get 21 e30 in a line going down the road. Have a look on www.e30zone.com and the car club site mentioned above.
