Would you buy a 1999 M3 Cab
Discussion
.... if you did almost 40,000 miles a year and were used to diseasal fuel consumption .....? The numbers stack up (almost) making it a zero financial impact change, except that my current car (2002 530d Sport) is 3 years "newer".

I used to get 36mpg at 80mph on a motorway run in my 1998 M3 Evo Coupe. Maybe slightly less with the convertible due to weight and air co-efficient.
The servicing will be a problem as they are required on every 6000. Inspection 2 services are expensive at around £850 excl. parts.
Great car, reliable (if you ignore the VANOS issue)
