325tds again.....sorry for being a bore ....but.

Hello again, only me, being a royal pain in the rse.
Its new car time again. The jag is costing me an arm and a leg so I have sold it.

My choices....
1. E36 325 TDS
2. Mercedes 230 kompressor (c class)
3. Subaru (of somesort)

Now, call me weird but I sort of like the supercharger route, but that is the devil on my shoulder, and dont really like the merc image.
The BMW is the sensible choice, but is it too boring and the e36 is a bit old now.
Subaru - why? I dont know and is a bit of a non starter I think.

I have never had a Merc or BMW go pear shaped on me.

Bmw or Merc?

Thanks in advance for opinions. I have to buy it by Wednesday next week.
