Could anybody tell me what the bhp on a 328i convertible should be cheers bob.

192bhp

Fit an old 325 manifold and a bored out throttle body and you will get 220bhp for less than £350.

On paper it is 193BHP in reality it will be nearer 210bhp. The reason it is quotes 193bhp is that there is a tax law in Germany for cars over this BHP, so you will see that BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Alfa's all have cars with 192/193BHP. The reality is these figures are a bit flexible. The 2.8 and 3.0 are not that different certainly not 37BHP different if you see what i mean

Nope, the car is definitely 192/3. It is deliberatly restricted by BMW, which is why it is so easy to liberate another 20bhp for so little cash.

Having said that he had 200bhp (adjusted) before he started modifying.
