V 12 Performance

Can anyone tell me where I can get performance parts and if the 4 valve head will fit in place of the 2 valve

Which BMW V12?
750, 760, 850, 850CSi, etc?

If its the V12 in the 750 and 850 then 4v M3 heads will fit appently but it's expensive.....

I know of someone who has built a quite extreme V12 with 480+bhp from a NA BMW V12 with 2V heads... he is fitting 4V heads and is expecting 600bhp.
I am right at the start of my development but plan to fit twin turbo's to a 5.0L version for 500+bhp.

Almost certainly, when I get a chance I plan to move my existing Ultima web page onto a proper service provider (not AOL freespace!).

At the moment I am looking for a buggered V12 (therefore cheap) for me to pull apart and become aqainted to start the development.
Would be grateful if anyone here knows of one.

Sounds like a cool engine project but why a Diablo replica? I think you should do what YOU want to do but boy if I had the skills to work on engines I would put an engine like that in an Ultima GTR or maybe even Factory Five's new GTM 200 chassis.

Good luck and would love to hear that engine no matter what it's put in.

The Diablo that I am building will esentially be a street legal race car. I know that I can get great performance from a small block chevy, but I want the V12

Well I now have my engine.... a complete running 750il came up for a good price and its the engine wanted due to the 5.0L std 8.8:1cr.

Next step is to strip it down and check out the internals........ if anyone wants a complete grey leather interior with electric everything (I've never seen electric headrests before) I'm open to offers.

BTW I currently have an Ultima canam but this engine isn't going in that.

Anyone have some detailed knowledge of this engine...

I am getting very close to starting my build of my engine and need to start getting into the nity grity of pistons, gaskets etc and am finding it difficult to find engine builders/machine shops that have experience of these engines and can do the work and provide the bits.
