New 6 Series

Yesterday i was priveleged enough to view the new 6 Series. Not drive it unfortunately but to have a look.

All I can say is if anyone has reservations about the look wait til you see it in the flesh! It is breathtakingly beautiful. The sound from the V8 is to die for with plenty of popping and spluttering in the good way.

Its is light years out of my budget but hey i can dream... Sensational draw droppingly gorgeous. Good times ahead methinks...

I'm tempted to cancel my order for a 645i cab - too expensive, not that fast, no room in the back and can't take a child seat in the front. Makes my CLK500 cab look cheap and I never thought I would say that!

well, its coming and its lovely.... It is quick though 0-62 in 5.2 secs... but the noise is amazing

Mungo i'm with you the older 635csi were the mutts... The highlines were the best with 38yards worth of leather in them...

Well i don't know where you got the unreliability from on the old sixes. I have had mine for 5 years and it never goes wrong. Use it every day. Like the new one, think it's the best bangle car yet, but still prefere the old e24. Have to disagree with scoobyz that the highline is the best. Chrome bumper 82-87 all the way. Highlines spoil the classic looks in my opinion.
