325ti Compact - any good?

Anyone own or have experience of a 325ti Compact? I'm pondering taking one (used version) for a test drive. How would you rate the handling balance? If it's an understeer buggy, I'm not interested!

The other motor that's tugging my driving gloves (joke!) in the Cooper S. Only fly in the ointment is that it's FWD.

What do the Beemer sages think?

oooooo bloody good fun! had one as a demo once great great great noise.... if anything i prefer that to my 330ci. Seriously. Sensible money now too.

Got to be a manual though
