I'm now a bit old to be a boy racer..... but,

why is it that kids these days can't read?

why does everyone think their car will be faster away from the lights?

in the words of the advert - "my car" does exactly what it says on the can - in fact it is written on the back how fast it is!

so why do they think thay can win?

I am too old to bother these days - but I do wonder!

x5x3, remember when you were young. The kids know you will toast them, there just trying to c how fast you are. I would do the same if i pulled up next to ferrari or something. Would love to c it at full acceleration. Got to watch though as there are always a few highly modified astras and novas with NOS in them. Could be embarassing......

Good point jamster - just watched "too fast too furious" and might need to have a look at NOS.

I know what you mean about testing things - can never resist that with TVRs. If you get one behind, slow right down, drop your window, get out the way and wait for the music!
