With that milage it should be worth quite a bit, but it depends on it's conditions. Is the cars rusting or is it perfect. If suffering from tin worm, then it will not be worth a huge amount as they cost a lot to sort out, but if its perfect i would expect around 12k if someone was prepared to pay that, although for that money people want an M6. I own a mint 86 model and thats worth about 7k, I am a member of a sharknose group and we have had as many as 26 at a meeting. I would recomend posting it on the BMW car club pages www.bmwcarclubgb.co.uk as with this mileage it will appeal most to a collector or enthusiast. If you need any more advice give me an e-mail. You should have this on my profile. James

Speak to Munich Legends. If it's as good as it sounds, he'll have no issues selling it.
They are raved about in EVO and a i've heard their name on a few other forums/websites. They seem to be the dogs danglies when it comes to 6-series BM's
I took a M635 in earlier this year and Munich legends gave me an idea on what it was worth, It was okay - not mint but it was a 1986 C and I still got £4000 for it.
Bl00dy fast and terrible brakes I remember!!

No doubt they will of tidied it up and sold it for nearer 10k. They manage to sell cars at extreem prices. I saw an M6 advertised for 25k, which is over the top no matter what the condition is. You can buy a ferrari for that.
