I used to work in a bookshop in St Martins Court called Motor Books. They used to stock and be able to get hold of virtually all manuals Haynes and dealer. I do know the BMW ones tended to be expensive, but you could give themm a try. It was several years ago that I worked there, so things may have changed. If you go visiting the shop they used to be able to source virtually any motoring book.

Which one is better?
I am going to need a manual for when i need to change brakes and stuff like my own service, i don't have a service history with this car so i don't really need to get anything stamped.
I now owe you 2 pints

Everyone in the US raves about the Bentley (publisher, not car) manuals. Ebay ought to help you there.

d3eano,
Could be that the computers after a certain time are cleared.
This happened to a 528i that I owned, had a full history, but no computer records They had serviced it as a mechanic knew the car.
I wouldn't get too worried, especially if it runs ok, and filters etc look good. That is usually a good sign.
Mike.

(Apologies for jumping on your thread....)

Scooby, Thanks for all your help, but the car is no longer mine as the owner appeared from nowhere (well round the corner) and has now moved the car.
So no need for the keys after all. sob sob
