What registration did the new shape 3 series convertibles start in S T or V and how much would i be able to pick one up for.thanks in advance.

started on a w reg mate in 323 form. Should be a few at 20k ish privately. otherwise early 20ies at a dealer depending on spec. Hope that helps

About a 97/98 depending on spec with a moderate mileage

I have had a look arond,the 97 R are going for 9k mostly,did they make any later than that in this shape.

E36 convertibles went all the way upto V reg. Should be some somewhere out there.

Thanks for your help scooby much appreciated.
Looking for something decent to take to pistonfest next year audi and saab convertibles also in the frame as is a jag xj also seen a v reg (new shape)330ci for 11500.would also consider 530i but 5 series prices vary widely ,on the same page on autotraders website there is a 97 525i and a 00 525se both for 10k.
hoping to change cars in january as they are normally cheaper after xmas.

Thats a cheap 330! Shouldnt be on a v though they started on a W. Could be an import. Cheap car though must have galactic mileage.

530 prices are allover the shop but usually down to spec. when you are ready to buy let me know any BMW's you see and ill check them out or you.

I had an e36 convertable 328i on 00/W, so I guess there were a limited number registered??

just the last few stragglers that got registered after March 2000 thats all. Obviousley dealers have stock of cars and hang on to them until they sell or they register them for their own use. SO even after production ceases cars stick around for a while.
