Those M5's are pretty fast, overtook one on a long uphill dual carriageway and I could not pull more than two car lengths ahead even when we both well into three figures. V.impressive and to the new reg Sliver M5, respect.

With a 400 bhp 5 litre v8 and
price in excess of 45 grand you would want a ing fast car. If you remove the 155mph limiter they have been clocked at over 180mph yum yum . Dan .

Went to a release party in France last year - following an M5 - we were the wrong side of 170 - he had 4 adults in the car.

You think the current ones are quick...........bearing in mind that Audi, Mercedes and BMW are going for BHP and 0-60 times in their current super saloons, I for one can't wait until the next version arrives. So much so I placed a deposit yesterday for one of the first M5's which should be here early 2005.
